Steve, a Marina resident since 2009 and lifelong photographer, cited the closeness to the water, boats and the ever growing collection of Public Arts as major factors in him deciding to move to the area. As the Marina development neared completion in 2013, he set about documenting it in photos.

Having walked, ran and cycled around Portishead on numerous occasions as he explored the full set of Public Artwork's himself, he decided it would be a good idea to create some structured routes that would take in all of the sculptures. This would allow the wider public the chance to enjoy the spectacle in full.

And so the idea for the Portishead Public Art Trail book was born.
