Originally from the UK I have always been fortunate to work in areas, all my life, that have taken me to the four corners of the world turning me into a consummate traveller or at least someone who has a travel addiction. Essentially a still life, portrait and fashion photographer, travel photography also became a natural passion due to my consistent moving around from one country to the next. The past few years I was based in Dubai that was central to travelling between Europe and the Far East. I started investing into Canon pro cameras some six years ago , with the 5d Mk II and eventually the 1d Mk4. "Japanese Princess" was shot with the relatively new Canon 5d Mk III. In 2012 I made the life changing choice to go full time as a freelance photographer. After a 3 month spell in Japan, recharging batteries back in UK and Paris, my next venture begins in Thailand with planned trips to Cambodia, Vietnam and always Japan.
