I'm a marine biologist by training. As such, my knowledge aids me in seeing the natural world with a scientist's eye. Although my photography portrays a wide variety of subject matter, my main subjects are birds, flowers, and landscapes.

In addition to photography, I'm an accomplished artist who also works in other media including: pen and ink, acrylic paint and coloured pencil. My other passion is traditional folk music.
