For more than 20 years, Anita Saha has been taking photographs of the places she has lived or visited in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Through her photographic images, she strives to capture the spirit and essence of each place, its people and their cultures. Anita feels that photography allows her to better connect with her environment and community. She explains that "photography helps me to become more aware of my surroundings and to notice scenes, colors, architectural details, people and expressions that I might not otherwise see.”

With camera and tripod at hand, Anita now explores New York City by foot and bicycle, capturing wonderful river views, cityscapes, street scenes, architecture, sunsets, and flora. Anita’s photographs have been exhibited at galleries, restaurants and tango venues throughout New York City where she currently resides.
