Dr. Ron Sousa lives with his partner Arturo of ten years near Palm Springs, Ca. They have two beautiful dogs named Chiquita and Manchitas. He is also the father of two wonderfully talented and successful daughters, Marina and Ronda. His first grandchild , Nora Rose Civiello-Sousa was born on May day, 2009.

After receiving his A.A. Degree from Sierra College in Rocklin, Ca in 1964, he completed his B.A. Degree at California State University at Chico, Ca in 1967. In 1974, He received his Masters of Science Degree from California State University at Hayward, Ca. In 1977, he received his Doctor of Education Degree from Nova University in Fortlauderdale, Florida.
