About

Craig L. Howe counts among his worst faults an insatiable appetite for knowledge and meeting people. It was only natural that he gravitated toward journalism.

He began my career as a reporter for Dow Jones. At his newspaper he was given a camera and told to make pictures. It was not long before he recognized a picture is worth A Thousand Words

He describes himself as a free market lover, capitalist cheerleader, and qualified to carry an American Civil Liberties Union card. He champions bold failures, chaos, information democratization and unfettered individual liberty.

He writes with the wit of H. L. Mencken, pragmatism of Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., insight of Ralph Waldo Emerson, exhaustive attention to detail and language of Tom Wolfe and logic of C. S. Lewis.

Born in Buffalo, N. Y, he was awarded a MA degree from the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY and a BA degree cum laude from Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Michigan
