About

Dennis Toff (b1926) trained at the School of Photography
of the Regent Street Polytechnic (now University of London)
in 1942 and served in the photographic branch of the Fleet
Air Arm during World War II. He left photography in 1950 to
pursue a successful business career returning on retirement in
1993.
Since then his work has been exhibited in Australia, Austria,
Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, USA & the UK including the
National Portrait Gallery, the RoyalPhotographic Society
International Exhibition, The Association of Photographers
Open, the London Salon of Photography, London Independent
Photography Annual exhibitions and TheMall Galleries. He has
had solo exhibitions at Christchurch in 2000 and at the
Barbican Arts Library in 2007
His work is in the Collections of the National Portrait Gallery, the
Jewish Museum and several private collectors.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society
