Pam Griffin, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, is a graduate of Texas Christian University where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. With a degree in elementary education, she taught third and fourth grade for several years and tutored ages 4 to 64 in the 1990s.

In 2001 she began working at The Destin Log newspaper in Destin, Fla., and has won numerous awards from the Florida Press Association in the religious and entertainment categories.

Pam loves her volunteer work with Mission Love Seeds, a Destin-based Christian organization that helps others in the Philippines, Haiti, locally, and provides needed relief help to people after hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes, recently after Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Pam also has 3 books published by Cedar Fort Publishing in Utah — Sounds of Christmas, Christmas Cookies 'Round the World, and Christmas Appetizers.

Pam has one daughter, Holly, four grown grandchildren — and precious great-granddaughters, Madisyn Rae and Emma Nicole.
