Jenny Gillespie was born in Springfield, IL in 1980. Her poetry has been published in Borderlands, Meridian, Gargoyle, and the Missouri Review. A recipient of fellowships from the Michener Center for Writers and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Gillespie is also a singer/songwriter.
