In 2007, over 100 people contributed to a community arts project called Collecting Loss: Weaving Threads of Memory. Each person donated clothing that belonged to their deceased loved ones and the stories this clothing evoked. This book bears witness to what can happen when memories are collected, transformed and given a place to gather in living, breathing form.
