For me, photography is a way of paying close attention to the world. Almost everything is amazing if you really look at it.

I do portraits of people and animals, events for non-profits, casual weddings, and editorial work, especially travel related. I am also a technical and creative writer, GIS technician, and database wrangler. I have a current passport and speak decent Spanish. I love documentaries and Spaghetti Westerns. I once drove my pickup from San Francisco to Guatemala. And that's a true story.
