A graduate of Geary High School in Geary, Oklahoma. Earned a BA in Education and a Masters degree in History. Had a varied career in education, business, high tech and computer manufacturing, and service with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. The father of two sons. Recently retired from one of the largest school districts in Colorado, now living with my wife Helen in Colorado Springs. "Memory Stories" is my second to be published online. My first book was titled "My Vietnam Year: May 1968 - May 1969" -- completed in late 2008. It was written after I got a sad email from a fellow Vietnam vet. He told me of visiting another vet's family after a funeral, a grieving family going through a box of medals, uniform ribbons and patches and photos from Vietnam. And trying to make sense of it all. It seems our buddy had never talked about his Vietnam experience. I realized I couldn't let that happen to my family. And now, one book has led to another
