About

My name is Markus Oskarsson. I´m a Swedish photographer based in Stockholm, working mainly within the fields of fashion, editorial and commercial.

I grew up in a small town surrounded by the forest, where I first got started by photographing and filming my friends, and myself, riding our skateboards around town trying to learn new tricks.

I moved to Stockholm after graduating from Gamleby School of Photography in 2013. And I started to freelance as a photographers assistant and retoucher before starting to switch over to working as a photographer.


I love working with natural light on location, and if I could I would do it all the time. But living in Sweden means that thats only an option for half of the year, and the rest I spend in the studio.

But whether on location or in the studio my aim is always to tell a story with my photography, and I always try to capture the beauty and uniqueness of the person in front of my camera with a lot of life and attention to details.
