I got my first Zenith camera in a Russian flea market in Athens in the 80s, at the age of 15. I studied physics and telecoms engineering, then worked in big technology projects for a decade. In 2010 I quit everything and started working full time as a visual artist, choosing photography as primary medium. Since then I presented work in solo and collective shows in London, Athens, Budapest, Glasgow, Tokyo, Singapore, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I’ve been living and working around the world for 16 years.

Making collages started as a guilty pleasure. This kind of work is giving room to move in all directions. The possibilities are endless. In Blue Arcana series I look at the human experience as a tragic comedy (comic tragedy works too). We take ourselves and our beliefs too seriously and have this desperate need to enforce unshakeable collective narratives to mask our existential fear and helplessness.
