I am one of three Felts women who crafted this book of poems. The poems' author was my husband's mother who loved nature and wrote often about the bugs, animals, and natural world that her children so loved. I first began reading Irma's poems to my kindergarten class I was teaching in the early 70's, and after I became interested in Photography, I started teaming my images with her poems. It's been a goal for years to eventually coral the poems and images into a book. My daughter, a writer and editor, has helped bring all this together.
