Tony Galardi is an American photographer born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1954. He moved to Miami Beach, Florida with his parents at the age of 2 and was raised in the Miami area along with his younger brother. His serious interest in photography began around 1976. After receiving his BFA in photography in 1980 from Florida International University and an MFA in photography in 1984 from The San Francisco Art Institute, he returned to Miami to teach photography at the University of Miami and at Florida international University. Mr. Galardi's work has been exhibited internationally and is in numerous collections including the Smithsonian Archives of American Art in Washington, D.C., the Historical Association of South Florida, The Center for Fine Arts, Miami, Florida, and the Ascherman Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio.
