Betty Lark Ross

Betty Lark Ross loves using a camera to explore and create. For the past four years, she has been photographing fire dancers. Ms. Ross has been teaching photography at The Latin School of Chicago for over twenty years. Annually she travels to Mexico with students to photograph Mayan archeology and Yucatan culture. She has also led student photography tours to Paris, Tanzania, Japan, Korea, Cambodia and a variety of places in the United States.

Ms. Ross is a Past-President of PIEA, The Photo Imaging Education Association. ( and was founding member and Co-chair of GLANCe, Gay, Lesbian Artist Network Chicago and Out Artist Network.
