One day when Mike was around 11 years old, his Mother came across a few 35mm cameras by way of an acquaintance. Being the inquisitive little guy that he was and his fascination with things artistic in nature, Mike begged her to let him play with them. Moms loaded Mike up with Kodak Tri-X, found him a book on beginning photography and sent him outside. Trees, rocks, birds...nothing was safe. Two weeks later Mike got back his first prints, and his life would never be the same. Nearly 20 years and many many books later, Mike's love for photography has evolved from curiousity to passion, and he's traded shooting beautiful nature for natural beauty.
