I woke up to art in 2010 having not held a paintbrush with serious intent for many years. I paint in acrylics and enjoy painting landscapes and still life.
In 2010 I also joined a Flickr group called Julia Kay's Portrait Party. Founded by American artist Julia Kay, this is a community of artists who post photos of themselves then depict one another in a wide variety of mediums. This has been an amazing community to belong to, and has kindled my love of portraiture.
