A Special Education Teacher and life long learner with compassion and empathy for my students who struggle with a few of the obstacles I fought through (but they fight many more than I ever did)... I read good novels to them so that they learn that a book can be fun even if it is thick!
I was pretty hard on my body as a youth and bear the scars of skiing, ice hockey, football, wrestling, track (throwing events), motorcycle racing, cross-country bicycling, and a few others I had just as soon not recall, so I don't get around as well as I once did, but I can still make an ill-advised attempt at touch football or coaching soccer.
