About

Walter Gray Lamb is a graphic designer in New York City.

He graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1972, and in 1973 moved to Dallas to accept a job in the Advertising Department of Neiman Marcus. Subsequent jobs in Dallas were at The Drawing Board, Bozell and Jacobs and DBG&H; all as a Senior Designer and Art Director.
In 1987 he moved to New York to work at Wills and Evans as Senior Designer. Additional jobs in New York have included positions at Serino Coyne, Estée Lauder and Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management serving as Creative Director. He is currently freelancing.

For several years he has been creating what he calls “electronic collages” created on the computer using various scanned ephemera, antique clip art and original art. He started collecting various materials for traditional collage use at an undetermined time—and a couple of years ago, discovered a source for old, vintage book covers and realized they would be the perfect canvas for his collages.
