Kate Curtis is a highly experienced award-winning art director, illustrator and painter with a career history encompassing senior creative positions in major Australian advertising agencies.

Not only has she been widening her focus to include graphic novels and children’s books, her cartoons regularly appear in the New Yorker magazine.

Kate was born in the United States, and grew up in Australia, New Zealand, Kenya and Ghana. She returned to Australia and has been living in Melbourne for some time.

Kate divides her time between a very old house in inner Melbourne and a very old house at Point Lonsdale.
