About the Creator
Abbey Andersen is an illustrator originally from Portland, OR. She received a BA in Studio Art from Humboldt State University and then took to the road. She now spends some of her time rooted in the most beautiful nooks and crannies of the country and much of her time adventuring between those places. Abbey's goal as an artist is to identify the extraordinary qualities of the ordinary, and to improve the day-to-day through humor and imagination. Her drawings on salvaged paper, clay, and wood aim to celebrate the whimsy of the natural world while minimizing material use. She is a sucker for unusual ingredients in the kitchen and thinks picnicking is just splendid.
