About the Book
A poem about a trip to the shops in the Covid 19 times. Social distancing, sanitisers, face masks and gloves have become the norm. A trip to the shops is quite an ordeal, very structured and deliberate with much intensity not the fun it used to be. Colourful art work is merged into the poem prompting deeper thoughts about what has changed in our lives today and what will change tomorrow. The only way I can describe my feelings is to say it often feels like COVID 19 has eyes and sends out spies. The poem reminds us how important it is to be compliant and grateful whilst never forgetting all those working hard to save lives everyday. Together we will overcome.
