About the Creator
Tom Rickhuss is a strategist at a renowned Bristol-based brand consultancy and author of Furlough Diaries. He openly confesses to being as qualified as his nine million fellow furloughers to write this book. However, whilst Furlough Diaries is his debut book, it is not actually his debut publication: a cited author with two published journal articles — ‘Investigating the Cost of Unpaid Internships for the UK Advertising Industry’ and ‘Advertising: A Suppressor or a Facilitator of Voice for Those Living with Mental Health Problems?’ in the Journal of Promotional Communications — and a handful of professional pieces too — ‘Transformational Thinking is Fundamentally Flawed’, ‘Buck the Trends with Inertia’, and ‘ANTI-NONSENSE™: A Brand & Marketing mini series’. Tom, along with many others, hopes to not have to write a sequel. Interpret that as you wish… Thanks for listening to Tom pretend to have had someone else write this uncomfortable third-person account for him.
