My photographs take a critical view of women's encouragement and social issues in the world. I've crafted my style to be a mixture of cinema and fine arts. My major influences come from photographers Annie Leibowitz and Peter Lindbergh. Having engaged subjects as diverse as the social movement, fashion, and cinema is my goal. My work reproduces familiar visual and aural signs, arranging them into new conceptually layered photographs. While I use a variety of photography techniques and processes in each project, my methodology is consistent. Although there may not always be a correlation between the different projects, they are linked by recurring formal concerns and through the subject matter. Each project often consists of multiple works, usually in a range of different media, grouped around specific themes and meanings.
