To fly astrally or to fly with real wings, to try to own your creativity whether in dreams or in realms far beneath the earth--this is the world of the Night Flying Collective--five people attempting to allow their artistic abilities and their abilities to fly shine: Techla, an energy worker who is diagnosed with cancer that goes to see a past life repressionist; Ascenti, a hermaphroditical teenage writer in love with Jesus and Mary Magdalene; Father Reminiyi, a young struggling music-loving poet priest; and Montgomery, a young man born with webs between his toes and fingers that were removed in a childhood he can't remember, who meets a mystery woman on the shore of Lake Superior who calls herself L'Spirit. In this magical mix of myth, poetry, and art, follow five people as they strive to understand the creativity of their strange abilities.
