About the Creator
Robert Palumbo is a New York-based filmmaker and photographer who has worked for National Geographic, the New York Times, the German culture magazine Du, YRB, and Vice. He has worked around the world, including in Africa, India, Japan, and Indonesia. His work was featured in Scalo’s acclaimed photo book about 9/11, “Here Is New York,” and is included in the collections of the Smithsonian, the Library of Congress, the New York Historical Society, and several prominent private collections. He has exhibited in New York City, London, Berlin and Hudson New York. He is a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellow in Photography. His book collaboration with poet Marcella Durand, "shadows of glaciers" was exhibited at the Davis Orton Photography Gallery in 2021, and will be shown at the Griffin Museum of Photography in early 2022.
