Madlén Hjelmroth is a storyteller and writer with a particular perspective on humanity. Growing up behind the Iron Curtain and later immigrating to the Free World gave her a sense of perspective on the human condition and the realisation that all humans are born the same, with circumstances and environment setting the frames. Her inborn curiosity drives her to ask the sometimes difficult questions, look beyond the obvious, and go deeper into people's lives. She is interested in capturing the human experience in all its complexity and nuance, offering a window into the lives of others and a deeper understanding of ourselves.
