Lane Billings is a fine arts photographer specializing in “tinted” photography. She was raised in rural Ohio, and she now resides and works in the North Shore (of Boston). She was educated at the University of Cincinnati, DAAP (Design, Art, Architecture and Planning) program, focusing on fine art and history. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles. While attending UCLA she worked in the film industry before starting her career as a photographer. After moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico her work appeared in several travel blogs. She relocated to Boston in 2015. This change began her exploration of color. Her work has been exhibited in several North Shore and Boston galleries.
