    About the Book

    Edit

Following the lineage of master photographers Minor White and John Daido Loori, Lisa practices the art of contemplative seeing-- aligning the eyes with a quiet mind and open heart to focus on "what else" there is to be seen. Slowing down and taking the time to really see, often finds our inner world reflected by our outer world. The practice of seeing deeply can help us discover our true nature and connect with others.
"Where water and earth meet and the power of the waves pushes and pulls at the sand beneath my feet, where the ocean horizon meets the sky swallowing the sinking sun in the distance-- here, I feel the tidal cycles within me and am reminded how tiny, fragile and miraculous our blue planet is in the greater cosmos."
