I had my first solo art exhibition in 2019 that focused on themes of love as I had experienced and learned different things from previous relationships. While creating and curating pieces and poetry, I realized how I had moved through these moments in my life with such strength and an understanding of love and healing that I wasn't fully aware I had. Initially I thought my art show was going to be centered around key people in my life who had made me feel so much. I came to realize that all that love and passion and empathy and grace and courage came from me. And the journey of love I was on is my journey of self discovery and self love. I hope this inspires someone to love and appreciate themselves just a little bit more.
