      About the Book

      Edit

Toys in the art class stretch the definition of art supplies. Toys are interesting items to build with and are objects that inspire art and artists. Toys stimulate playing with art and act as inspirations for creative setups and actions, creating environments or designing spaces and places for playing and art-making. Encountering a memorable toy can be an important art experience; it can stir the imagination and motivate the desire to build collections. The book discusses how toys inspire play, playfulness, ideas, and creative acts.
