      Third grade students wanted to help the relief efforts in Haiti so they used their creative expression through poetry.

      The minute my mom gave me pencil and paper, I never imagined a life without writing. The ultimate goal for me is to write about or photograph "the things" I care about most and hope through connection with others, that others will be inspired, too. I am determined to "let go" and learn to live best "in the moment." So many things have happened in my life - just as they have in yours - that are unpredictable and sometimes leave me feeling I have no control. My mantra is to "simplify" and live in the moment. I live in Danville with my two amazing boys and am grateful to love what I do and do what I love: be a mom, teach, write, and constantly learn.
