A Journey in Poetry?
Chris Newlon Green simply calls it Words Going Places, allowing this collection of poems to guide your imagination to literary sightseeing, perhaps to a short escape.

Chris has put together a unique collection of his poetry from teenage years of 1960 to the present; his impressions take you for a walk through hot, dry foothills and a river stroll in London, and points in between.

The title of my book is a blending of the titles of my two old chapbooks: “Lite; Dark Words and
“Going Places”.

Chris’ collection also features poems of several poets, some new to you, others perhaps your favorites, and still others may be those you have long forgotten. Words Going Places delivers a wide variety of moods, themes and styles –the serious, the romantic, the sad, and the humorous.

I hope the many poems may inspire you to jot down a verse or two.
