About the Book
This book contains photographs taken during the initial course of the project between 2008 - 2010. It documents the travel and work of groups of individuals from the UK who travelled to the Indian province of Gujarat, to participate in workshops, meet artists and poets, and establish links between them. A group from Gujarat responded with a visit to the UK in summer 2009, where they met with MPs and expanded the collaboration. As a result, many further activities were started across the globe, leading to conference, several sub groups, an arts exhibition, and the publication of several books.
As another group from the UK prepares for the next visit in April 2010, this book summarises the activities and achievements up to this date.

About the Creator
I have taken pictures since I was 10 years old. With digital cameras I nowadays take tons of pictures everytime when I travel. Why? Because I want to capture the experience of seeing. I want to share what I see. I am also interested in history. In the future, our current present times will be history. It is enjoyable to view our present times through the eyes of a future observer - in the same way as we do now with the past. I am Professor of Creative Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University and am interested in technology/software development for human-computer interaction systems. This includes computer vision, augmented reality, and autonomous road vehicles.
