About the Book
The Almeda fire of September 2020 was traumatic for the Rogue Valley community. As an artist, poet and bookmaker living in the valley, Eden Orlando asked for submissions from Jackson and Josephine County community members to the "Oregon Wildfires Anthology" in hopes of providing a healing space through creativity. Personal stories, nature's cycles, grief and loss, how we came together in crisis, healing and regeneration, hope, and what we wish to honor were encouraged topics. This 96-page anthology showcases the experiences of 22 local writers and artists inspired by this event.
