About the Book
Each morning for five years, the Auckland Harbour Bridge revealed a different scene – rising light, drifting clouds, soft reflections across the harbour.
From the window of the NX1 bus travelling from Red Beach into the city, Rudolph Van Wyk began capturing these fleeting moments using nothing more than a curious eye and an iPhone.
Bridging Moments gathers over one hundred photographs taken between 2019 and 2024 – quiet visual fragments of Auckland waking.
This small square edition offers an accessible and intimate way to experience the changing skies and stillness of the harbour, reminding us that beauty often appears in the simplest moments, if we are willing to notice.
