    Francesca Sophia
    Charlotte, NC

Francesca Sophia is a writer based in Charlotte, NC whose work explores memory, attachment, identity, and the quiet, often unseen moments where healing takes place. Her poetry reflects on the subtle shifts that shape who we become, capturing meaning in both the ordinary and the in-between. Having traveled to over 15 countries and studied Mandarin Chinese, she brings a global and introspective perspective to her writing, guided by curiosity, attention, and a deep appreciation for human connection. An intuitive and reflective thinker (INFJ), Francesca is drawn to beauty in all forms, from stained glass and color theory to fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. She is often writing with a cup of tea nearby, and when she isn’t, she can be found rock climbing, hiking, or exploring new restaurants, always chasing both experience, inspiration and conversation. Under the Willow Tree is her debut collection.
