About the Book
Copper Clay and the shrub with little red berries, longing for evergreen, released on 1 January 2026, Holly’s 73rd birthday, is a commemorative edition dedicated to her, created in resonance with works by thirty-nine artist friends. Each responds in a different way: some return to the 1970s and the early days of woodblock printmaking; some engage with her poem written after photographic assignments in the 1980s; others reflect on her final work, completed just a month before her passing. What unfolds is a long photograph, extended across time.
