    About the Book

    Edit

This story is meant to help children understand that all feelings, including sadness, are okay to talk about. The “storm cloud” in Mia’s story represents the negative thoughts that can sometimes make children feel alone, hopeless, or like they are not good enough. These thoughts are not the truth, and children should never have to carry them by themselves.

This book was inspired from a training that the author attended in order to learn more about suicide prevention.
