    About the Book

    Edit

Guide to Equine Anatomy: The Thorax, Abdomen and Pelvis bridges the gap between anatomical knowledge and clinical practice. This fully illustrated second edition presents the anatomy of the equine thorax, abdomen and pelvis in a clear, logical format, integrating cadaveric dissections, schematic diagrams, and the Glass Horse Model to enhance three-dimensional understanding.
Throughout the guide, anatomical structures are explored in the context of clinical examination, diagnostic imaging, surgery, and common clinical conditions, emphasizing their relevance in veterinary practice. Clinical correlates, study tips, and review questions reinforce key concepts and encourage the application of anatomy to real-world scenarios.
Designed for veterinary students, educators, and equine practitioners, this practical guide provides a comprehensive resource for learning, teaching, and revising one of the most clinically important regions of the horse.
