About the Book
Photographer Nick Zungoli has been a frequent visitor to Italy since reuniting with family there in 1987. Over the years his interest in photography has centered around how light and atmosphere transforms the landscape. The mountains, hills and watery ways of Venice provide those very special conditions at the heart of his work.
Nationally recognized and the Hudson Valley's pre-eminent landscape photographer, Nick Zungoli opened the Exposures Gallery in Sugar Loaf Art & Craft Village, NY in 1979. His original fine art photographs and posters have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world. Nick has contributed to publications such the New York Times, National Geographic and Sierra Magazines. His beautiful coffee table book entitled “Hudson to Delaware / The Great Valley”, contains over 140 color photographs spanning 25 years in the region. Nick's digital photo workshops are offered year round at his gallery and occasionally at exotic locales.
