About the Book
The Honddu Valley has many old churches, a monastery and the famous Llanthony Priory. The tiny road starts at the Skirrid Inn, the oldest pub in Wales and leads on up through the Gospel Pass to Hay on Wye. It is one of the most picturesque valleys and has a very special spiritual feel to it. The people who live there are exceptionally friendly and caring.
Born into a family where his father was a film director and photographer, and mother a pianist, Peter has been immersed in the arts and photography all his life. He has travelled widely as a documentary photographer and has been published in countless magazines and newspapers. His award winning photography has been exhibited in one-man touring exhibitions in UK (including regional galleries and museums, London's Commonwealth Institute, The Photographers Gallery and Edgeware Road Galleries) and abroad (Geneva and Israel). His first book of photographs was published by Redcliffe (Medieval Brigands - A year in the life of the hippie convoy). Now retired, he lives with his wife in The New Forest, Hampshire, and in his spare time is working on his fifth book of photographs.
