    About the Book

    Edit

"Ben Koch’s debut volume of poetry, The Frequency of Whispers, displays a wonderfully fresh, omnivorous spirit, a great skill in language-slinging, and an irrepressible curiosity about the worlds in and around him. His poetic genius emanates from seeing the world metaphorically so that he can easily link wild and improbable ideas to a wisdom only he can find in the heart’s possibilities."

-- the late Jack Myers, former Texas Poet Laureate
