This is a collection of some of the first poems I ever wrote! Some of the poems are playful, and some serious, but all unique. Also included are a couple of my free writes, hince the title. The free writes were scanned in, for a vintage look and also explained. The pieces that my free writes turned into are included. The whole concept of a free write is, too, explained in detail. Feel free to try it yourself at home!



Some of the poems selected were written using techniques I learned while in college at Georgia Southern University. The techniques are defined and explained, so that readers can understand and also incorporate, if they are writers.



Each poem also comes with a description of what inspired it, where I was, and more! Lastly, included is a great poem from fellow D.O.P.E. Poet and nationally known poet, Philly Folks. At the very end is a sneak peak of my short story collection, which is coming soon!!
