About the Book
This book collects and expands upon an art show that happened in June 2007. The show was a "multi-media art puzzle" that was offered to the public in the form of a contest.
The contents of the book are as follows, an introductory essay regarding the motivations for the show, full page-full color, reproductions of each of the 33 clues from the show, a full collection of all the attempted solutions of the puzzle that were submitted, the actual solution of the puzzle accompanied by an explanation of the solution, as well as a philosophical essay regarding the theory of .meaning.
The book is considered the proper culmination of the whole project and is intended as an art-object in its own right.

Carson Grubaugh obtained BA's in both art and philosophy from the University of California Berkeley in 2007. In 2011 Carson graduated from the Cranbrook Academy of Art with an MFA in Painting. Carson currently lives in a state of transience, which is shared with his thoughts, some books, art supplies and his two imaginary golden labs, Yella and Gol.
