      The John Muir Trail is one of the most famous hiking trails in the USA. From Yosemite Valley to the top of Mount Whitney at 14505 ft (4421 m) it runs for 211 miles (340 km). To reach its destination the trail goes through amazing mountains, valleys, forests, plateaus, rivers and lakes.
