A distinguished Hall of Fame athletic coach and professor at Binghamton University for forty-two years, now retired in Florida at The Villages with his wife of twenty years, Patricia. A recipient of the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching and also selected by his peers at all three divisions of the NCAA as Coach of the Year in Golf. He led his team to sixty-nine tournament victories and to one of the highest winning percentages in the nation. Earlier in his career, he coached varsity men's baseball and basketball. Currently, he is the only coach to reach over 100 wins in the latter sport. An avid birdwatcher, golfer, tennis player, writer, gardener and lover of nature, he and Pat have a blended family of seven children and eight grandchildren.
