    About the Book

    Edit

A hundred philosophical anchorites, Taoism and animism adepts, survive in this areic and infertile land.

Vital force animating living beings and natural elements:
Appearances are misleading: it’s not when the dust rises into the air creating ochre tornados or opaque fog that it takes on life.
In these phenomena, it’s the wind that manifests its multifaceted presences. The dust shows its potential in the aggregates that it forms at miniscule rock interstices. There, set in timeless immobility, the vibrant intensity of each particle is perceptible. Its homeostatic position in the world is both immutable (at the scale of our observation) and ephemeral (at the cosmic scale). This duality is the meditative contact point.
